The Mason Bed, inspired by the iconic hotels on San Francisco’s namesake street, is a true centerpiece for your bedroom. Crafted from oak by our skilled artisans, it is fully custom-made and upholstered with premium fabrics. The photo shows the Nobilis Niamey fabric.

Design & Craftsmanship

The design combines symmetrical rounded forms with a recessed mattress, creating a voluminous yet minimalist appearance. The headboard and the three frame sections are milled with extreme precision using CNC technology, ensuring millimeter-perfect symmetry according to AutoCAD drawings.

In our workshop, experienced artisans cut the fabric by hand and upholster it over carefully shaped cold foam. This creates soft, comfortable curves in both the headboard and frame sections. Assembly is done using metal corner brackets, with the upholstery seamlessly joined through precise miter cutting. The bed rests on invisible 2 cm legs for optimal ventilation and durability.

The Mason Bed is made to fit your mattress size:

• 180×200 cm → Frame: 220×220 cm, Headboard: 247 cm wide, approx. 21 cm thick, 135 cm high

• 180×210 cm → Frame: 220×230 cm, Headboard: 247 cm wide, approx. 21 cm thick, 135 cm high

• 200×200 cm → Frame: 240×220 cm, Headboard: 267 cm wide, approx. 21 cm thick, 135 cm high

• 200×210 cm → Frame: 240×230 cm, Headboard: 267 cm wide, approx. 21 cm thick, 135 cm high

• 210×210 cm → Frame: 250×230 cm, Headboard: 277 cm wide, approx. 21 cm thick, 135 cm high

The bed frame is delivered with slatted base and tailored to the chosen mattress size.

Upholstery & Pattern

The headboard fabric is railroaded rotated 90 degrees because the fabric roll has a maximum width of 140 cm. This creates a vertical central seam in the headboard.

For fabrics with a prominent pattern, the sides of the frame are also railroaded, producing a subtle vertical seam halfway along the frame. With patterned fabrics, this seam is barely noticeable.

For solid-colored fabrics, however, the central seam is clearly visible, so solid fabrics are not recommended for this design.

Price excludes fabric. In our showroom, you can choose from over 100 fabrics and colors, allowing The Mason Bed to be fully tailored to your interior.
