Surrounded by the area’s industrial heritage and new hotspots, this is a place where you can not only discover beautiful pieces, but also catch a glimpse of how vibrant this neighbourhood is set to become.
You’ll find us in Oostenburg, which is currently still under construction—but no worries, we’re happy to explain how to reach us. In the meantime, Oostenburg is steadily transforming into a lively hub for art, design and entrepreneurship.

Oostenburg: from shipyard to creative hotspot
Oostenburg is a place where history and innovation go hand in hand. For centuries, shipyards and heavy industry defined the area, but today the island is buzzing with creative energy. As you stroll through the streets, you’ll notice the blend of old and new: towering halls, industrial features and contemporary design around every corner.
The Van Gendt Halls are a beautiful example of this transformation. Once a workshop for steam trains and diesel engines, they are now a space where light, openness and industrial character come together. Soon, you’ll be able to enjoy multidisciplinary art exhibitions, discover creative start-ups, and meet tech companies working on sustainable solutions. Here, innovation meets history.
Pioneers such as Studio Drift bring the neighbourhood to life with breathtaking installations, while the new Drift Museum offers a behind-the-scenes look at this creative transformation. Visit our Concept Store and discover Oostenburg for yourself.
